In January this year, Northallerton Variety Company lost two stalwarts who had meant a lot to them. Diane Henry died unexpectedly and Wendy Reed died after a brave fight against cancer. To celebrate the lives of these two lovely people "Music and Laughter" is being staged on Sunday 16th July at 2 pm as a tribute to them both. Groups that they had been involved with are coming together to put on great afternoon's entertainment. This will feature Northallerton Musical Theatre Company, Dancers dancing to the music of Glenn Miller, the Allerton Players with their successful entry to the Saltburn Festival, the Northallerton Variety Company Concert Group - both adults and juniors, the Northallerton Methodist Church Choir, and all your favourites from the Variety Company's popular pantomime staging a short version of "Dick Whittington and his Cat
All proceeds will be donated to "Wendy's Wish" (for research into eye tumours) and "The Friends of the Dales School - Hydrotherapy Pool".
