About Ann...

Ann comes from Downpatrick, a lovely little town that nestles at the foot of the Mourne Mountains in County Down, Northern Ireland. Ann has been involved in music all her life, listening to her grandmother singing all their favourite popular songs of her time.

In her junior years, Ann won her first competition at the age of nine.  Ann performed the song "Edelweiss" from "The Sound of Music" at a competition in her local town.  At sixteen Ann was singing with a local country band and did so for several years. She continued to sing at semi-professional level on the local cabaret circuit until 1981 when she recorded her first album "Country Songbird" with Belfast Record Company "Outlet Records".

"Pal of My Cradle Days" was released as a single and went straight to No 1 in the Irish charts; then soared up the British National charts to number 47.  The single was so successful that it entered the Guinness Book of Song Records for remaining in the charts for two years!

PLEASE NOTE - seating for this event is unallocated which means you can just select your seat when you arrive for the show.

Suggs

Suggs

SUGGS

A Life in the Realm of Madness…

Due to huge popular demand after his first tour-de-force, smash hit, sell out tour, ‘My Life Story’, Suggs is treading the boards again with a brand new show.

If the first show was about how on earth he got there, ‘Suggs: A Life in the Realm of Madness…’ is about the surprises that awaited him when he did.

Vertigo on the roof of Buckingham Palace ... nearly blowing the closing ceremony of the Olympics ... the embarrassing stuff that happened at Glastonbury - Things have certainly gone a 'smidge' surreal since the Madness frontman was a twelve year old in shorts on the tough streets of North London.

Constantly expecting an inevitable tap on the shoulder to hear  ‘What are you doing here, sunshine?’ Suggs ponders on how he has come this far. In this business you can be washed up at any minute.  How has he managed to get away with it for so long?

Fame is a tightrope and Suggs has fallen off many times.

With help from Deano, his trusty pianist, he tells his story in words and music with the help of some Madness classics and a couple more 'what he wrote all on himself'.

Bulsara and his Queenies

Bulsara and his Queenies

Bulsara and His Queenies, a remarkable 7-piece band who perform the music of Queen, have recently been selected by Queen Productions Ltd. to headline the official Freddie Mercury Birthday Party in Montreux, Switzerland in September!

Fresh from performing in Montreux, they are excited to be playing at The Forum on Saturday 10th November for what will be a night to remember.

Founded in summer 2016 in the North of England, the band - made up of youthful music graduates and an ex-physics teacher - has its own identity which is far removed from the typical ‘Queen Tribute Band’: no wigs, no yellow jackets and no attempt to look like Queen! Bulsara and His Queenies are all about the music - think ‘homage’ rather than ‘pastiche’.

"We are quite 'alternative' and unique for a 'tribute band' as we don't attempt to look like Queen. The fact that we were still booked for the hottest party in showbiz by the world's biggest band is testament to our musical capabilities." - Gareth Taylor, Vocalist.

As well as performing several of Queen’s more mainstream hits, the Queenies place particular emphasis on the ‘Deep Cuts’ from the first half of Queen’s career. This is why BAHQ exist; providing the most discerning Queen fan with a unique experience which no other Queen band dares do.
