Leeming Military Wives Choir are delighted to be performing a concert of Remembrance at The Forum, Northallerton. We would love for you to join us, as we remember those who have fallen in combat. We will be singing songs and telling stories relevant to wars across history, including what it means to us to be Military Wives, and serving members of the armed forces. The programme will include music from Dame Vera Lynn, Traditional Hymns and songs commissioned for the Military Wives Choir and made famous with the help of Gareth Malone.

This friendly and talented multi-instrumental duo will take you on a joyous vibrant musical journey, bringing together the sounds of world, roots and jazz music.
Frankie plays sax, vocals, clarinet, flute, guitar and percussion; Peter’s on guitar, vocal, banjo, ukulele, tres (traditional Cuban guitar) accordion and suitcase.
Their repertoire draws from a wide range of styles, including Bluegrass, Latin and Caribbean New Orleans, Balkan and more. Blending all these influences they create an upbeat ‘feel good’ rhythmic and rootsy sound all of their own.
